Jewelry Production Categories

Every piece has a starting point. Some are finished and waiting for their person; others begin with one of our original designs or an idea we develop together. These five categories explain how your jewelry comes to life.

Ready-to-Ship

These pieces are already made and available to purchase. Your piece may still need sizing, a final inspection, or careful packaging before shipment, but it does not need to be produced specifically for your order.

Special Order

These pieces are already produced by one of our trusted vendors, but may not be physically in our studio when you place your order. We’ll order the piece for you, inspect it when it arrives, and complete any necessary sizing or finishing before it ships to you.

Special-order pieces typically have a shorter lead time than made-to-order jewelry, but they are not available for immediate shipment.

Made-to-Order

An existing design, made especially for you after you place your order. You may choose from the available options, such as metal, ring size, chain length, or gemstone. The design is already established rather than created from scratch.

Personalized

An existing design with a detail that makes it yours, such as engraving, initials, a meaningful date, or a birthstone. Personalization may be added to a ready-to-ship or made-to-order piece. 

Custom & Bespoke

A piece designed or substantially altered specifically for you. This may include reimagining heirloom jewelry, sourcing a particular gemstone, creating a new digital design, or making significant changes to a piece’s structure. You approve the design before production begins.
