Jewelry Submission Process
Shipping Jewelry:
- Self-Send: Customers may self-send their jewelry to the following address:

- Precious Cargo Stress-Free Shipping Kit: You may purchase a Precious Cargo Kit here, and Stradley & Daughter will provide a pre-labeled, secure shipping kit that includes return postage and a short questionnaire regarding the desired repairs/changes. To order by phone, text “Precious Cargo” to 386-767-3473.
Assumed Agreement:
By utilizing a Precious Cargo kit or sending your jewelry to Stradley & Daughter, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
Shipping Liability and Insurance:
At Stradley & Daughter, we take great care to securely package your jewelry and use trusted shipping services to ensure safe delivery. While our standard shipping option includes $50 of insurance at no additional charge, this coverage may not be sufficient for higher-value items.
To fully protect your shipment, we strongly encourage purchasing additional insurance for its full value. This option is available for an additional charge and provides peace of mind, protecting against rare cases of loss or damage during transit. Without full insurance coverage, Stradley & Daughter cannot assume financial liability for items in transit.
We are here to assist you by providing tracking information and, if needed, contacting the shipping carrier on your behalf to support resolution efforts. However, once a package leaves our care, full insurance is the best way to ensure your jewelry is protected. If you would like to add insurance coverage to your shipment, please contact us for further information.
To assist with insurance, appraisal services are available for $95 per piece.
Receipt and Inspection of Jewelry
- Upon receipt of your jewelry, we will notify you via text of their delivery, carefully inspect, and photograph each item for our records.
- Following the inspection, you will receive our repair recommendations and a free estimate via text.
- You may accept, decline, or choose specific repairs. A virtual meeting can be arranged for further discussion.
- Upon acceptance, we will provide a detailed quote and a formal agreement for your signature.
- A 50% deposit is required before work begins, payable via a secure link provided via text.
- Throughout the repair process, we will provide updates via text, including the order and receipt of parts, photos of progress if requested, and any necessary quality checks.
- If any changes to the total cost are needed, we will inform you in advance and give you the option to proceed.
- Once repairs are completed, the remaining balance is due. Upon payment, your jewelry will be shipped back to you, with tracking information provided.

Warranty:
- Stradley & Daughter provides a one-year warranty on workmanship for repairs.
- Stradley & Daughter will not cover jewelry failures or loss that result from declined repairs.
- If recommended repairs are declined, the warranty on the entire piece may be voided.

Exclusions:
- Repairs are not offered for costume jewelry or watches.
- Stradley & Daughter will not be held liable for breakage due to the fragile or compromised nature of the jewelry.
- Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in the state of Florida.
